I am an all around musician who loves to share my knowledge and passion for music with others. I find it just as important to know how to teach someone as it is to know about the instrument you are teaching.

As far as my performance experience, I have a Masters in World Music Performance from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelors in Percussion Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY). I has also studied traditional Irish music at the University of Limerick (Ireland). I have been a guest drum set soloist with the San Diego State Javanese Gamelan and a guest musician with the Yelle-Belle Dance Ensemble in New York City. I have collaborated with such artists as Barry Goldberg (Bob Dylan), Bonnie Pointer (The Pointer Sisters/Solo Artist), James Galway (flute soloist), and Alex Del Zoppo (Sweetwater). I am a seven year veteran private teacher. I have taught lessons in Voice, Piano, Flute, Clarinet, saxophone and beginner trumpet. I am new to the Boston area and I’m eager to teach! I have a Bachelor in Music Education from Five Towns College in New York.
I’m an easy going teacher; I like to focus on the students’ progress without putting pressure on them. I have various methods I like to use with different instruments but I also like to take into account on what the student’s ability is and what the student prefers as a choice of music. Students will benefit from my method of teaching while having fun as well.
