Rosalyn T. North Chelmsford, MA

About Rosalyn

Since earning my Music Education Degree, I have been a Public School and Private String Teacher. I am also a free-lance musician in my area. I enjoy teaching because of the 'ah- ha' moments: when after working on a new concept, the student is able to apply this concept to their music. It's a great feeling for both teacher and student! I love the relationships formed by myself and my students. I have students who still visit with me during and after their college years. I always approach teaching in a fun, friendly and patient manner. Sometimes there is more laughing than playing, but in the end, we always accomplish the goals we set out to achieve. I know my students appreciate my approach as a teacher because of their enthusiasm towards their studies. The results I am ...

Jeanne is a fantastic teacher

Jeanne is a great person and very easy to communicate with and I personally think that makes for a nice teacher/student relationship. I can ask her questions and she explains things very well. I feel in the 4 short weeks I have been working with her that she has taught me quite a bit. Each week I leave there with something new to challenge myself with. I would highly recommend Jeanne as she is a wonderful piano teacher. Thank you Jeanne. I look forward to this journey of learning.
Anastasia S. Medford, MA

About Anastasia

After Anastasia’s Carnegie Hall Debut in 2006, the New York Concert Review wrote: "For a critic, hearing a new pianist with a truly warm, luscious tone is like breathing in the scent of jasmine blooming - a pleasure to be recalled again and again - and so I'm happy to report that from the first note she touched at her Weill Hall recital, Anastasia S. was a genuine pleasure to listen to. Every piece, every measure, every note - no matter how complex the texture, no matter how many strands of melody and accompaniment - was wrapped in a halo of golden tone..." Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Anastasia S. gave her first solo recital at the age of eleven. Ms. S. is a graduate of the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, Germany, and holds a Master’s degree from The Hartt School at the University of ...

I have enjoyed my lessons with Ashley because:

1. Pace of instruction is perfect for my level (beginner) and available practice time (limited).
2. Ashley isn't simply teaching me how to play a song; rather she is improving my technique in this critical period where bad habits can still be changed.
3. Always on time (granted instruction is at her location but none the less this is appreciated).
