I have been playing guitar for over 30 years. I played in various rock bands for fun growing up and then developed a passion for acoustic finger-style guitar playing and songwriters like James Taylor. While still in high school, I opened a concert for Livingston Taylor (James’ brother). After high school I decided to pursue my passion for guitar in college and received my Bachelors degree in Classical Guitar Performance studying with Robert Guthrie at Southern Methodist University. I also love to write music so after graduating from SMU I went out to Los Angeles and worked in the film music industry at Warner Bros. Studios for many years. I’m now working at MakeMusic, Inc., a world leader in music technology whose mission is to develop innovative solutions that transform how music is composed, taught, learned, and performed. Hey Everyone, First I'd like to thank you for viewing my page. Obviously, you are curious as to what it takes to be a musician and more specifically a "Drummer" which is of course my favorite! Anyways, a little bit about myself. My name is Marcus I've been playing drums for 18yrs now. As you might be able to tell, I'm a pretty fun and outgoing person. I love music with a passion and I love teaching. In 2012, I started up my own teaching business giving lessons to underprivileged youth in the Minneapolis and metro areas. Hi, my name is Anna. As an orphan, I grew up in Hungary in a foster home. At a very young age I was already exposed to music. It kind of blew me away. I didn't know how something could be so beautiful, and it was like a miracle for me. Then and there, I knew that something special was waiting for me ahead. When I was 3, I didn't talk for a long time, but I did do one thing: sing. At that point my life has totally changed. I began my long journey. My foster parents got me in to a music school, called Janos Patzay Music School. I knew immediately what I wanted to be. I built my whole life on music. I am a 23 year old drummer that's been drumming for several years in local and professional acts.

Mission statement: To be current and relevant in modern drumming technique and playing/writing in a lacking industry -- and help give the tools and thought process to a starting or intermediate drummer to get to a successful point with a band or just meet their own personal goals for their drumming.

I am currently in a band and we just finished a professional record under a major label with a Grammy award winning producer. I have technical experience as well as relevant experience in the music industry, recording, writing, and freelance drumming for many projects and styles.

With the drum set being my primary instrument, my approach as a drummer has always been to bring a song to the next level in whatever way that may be. Whether it be helping to develop the emotional build of a section, or to make a transition become more creative and have more impact, my approach is always asking myself what can be done to make a piece of music more meaningful. My mindset and approach toward what I am trying to accomplish or display changes dramatically depending on the situation, and my approach to drum solos is vastly different compared to when I am writing parts for a specific song. Meet Stacy K B.: vocalist, guitar and piano player with over 10 years experience in the music performance business. Stacy K B. (better known as Stacy K) has been sharing her knowledge of music for over two years and is known for her energetic and creative approach to teaching lessons. Besides teaching, Stacy K also performs in original and cover bands throughout the Midwest. Stacy also has experience in writing original music, jingles, voice overs, and backup vocalists for various artists (in studio performances and live). I have been teaching lessons and performing for over ten years in a wide variety of styles and settings. I have a master's degree in Jazz Studies from Purchase College and a bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Jazz and African American Studies. After college I worked on Carnival Cruise Lines for three years, which gave me a ton of experience in all sorts of musical genres. Afterwards, I lived in Brooklyn, playing around town and teaching in Brooklyn and Long Island. After a summer living on Cape Cod while performing with the great wedding/corporate band, "The Sultans of Swing," I moved with my wife to the beautiful city of Minneapolis.

I bring years of experience teaching and performing into my lessons. I believe every student is a unique individual and must be taught that way, with patience, understanding, and open-mindedness.

Hello! My name is Nick. I have been playing drums for over thirteen years, and currently play in multiple groups in Minnesota spanning several genres. My repertoire includes rock, country, funk, blues, R & B, soul, and jazz, as well as church music and musicals such as “The Music Man.” With background in Latin and Afro-Cuban rhythms, I can also play several different types of hand drums such as djembe, congas, and bongos. I was trained in classical music, so I play a variety of auxiliary instruments such as the tambourine, shakers, guiro, orchestra bells, and a-go-go bells. I am experienced in using Logic Pro and Protools to run loops, and building effects for my triggers. I graduated from McNally Smith College of Music where I received a Bachelors of Music in Percussion Performance. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
