About Me
Beth specializes in teaching improvisation and has a love for nurturing the development of any up and coming composer, performer, or hobbyist. Students with Beth typically study the music of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Film, TV, as well as Classical styles.
Beth graduated with a Bachelors in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in 2005. While in Boston, she served as the Principal Conductor for the College Repertory Orchestra. Beth is an active percussionist and pianist in a variety of musical settings performing and composing primarily for live groups in the Twin Cities area. She is also a keyboard instructor and show director at a local rock music school serving students ages 8-18.
Her original works have premiered professionally on the set of theater productions, the stages symphonic band concerts, radio commercials, and several independent films. She's currently a percussionist with an afro-Cuban/ Brazilian jazz ensemble as well as an independent film composer for films...
