I fell in love with teaching music while a student myself! I am an alumnus of the University of Michigan, where I received a Masters of Music in 2007, and a Bachelors of Music in 2006. While there, I began teaching at my private vocal studio and studying vocal pedagogy. Since graduation, I have continued teaching privately in New York. I love what I do. I find it so fulfilling to give my students the tools that they need to succeed and watch them achieve their goals.

I have performed in both the US and internationally on a professional level. As a performer I am comfortable in a range of repertoire: Musical Theater, Jazz, Opera, Pop, Folk and other genres. After a couple years I realized the need for formal training, so I began taking classical guitar lessons. I was introduced to formal music instruction and my abilities really blossomed. I am a professional Opera Singer, new to Minneapolis from New York City. While that's my "job title," don't let it fool you. I have also spent a number of years touring with jazz, blues, and rock and roll bands as a pianist and guitarist, so my style comes from everywhere.
