About Me
Hailed by critics as having a "beautiful, light mezzo agility, and natural theatricality," and a "commanding" stage presence, Lora completed her Masters of Music in Classical Voice Performance in May 2012 from the University of Miami's acclaimed Frost School of Music. Here, she performed the roles of Cherubino in "Le Nozze di Figaro," Mrs. Herring in "Albert Herring," and the title role of "Orfeo." Prior to receiving her Master's Degree, she received her Bachelors of Music from Miami University in her homestate of Ohio where her roles included Papagena in "Die Zauberflöte," and Poppet in Britten's "Paul Bunyan," amongst numerous other roles in opera scenes and chorus. She also has studied opera and art song performance in Salzburg, and the Tuscan region of Italy, along with spending a summer at the Manhattan School of Music's Summer Voice Institute. She also holds a passion for Musical Theater, having performed in community and college productions, and concert work.
