About Me
I love to learn and I love to teach! And nothing makes me happier than passing on what I've learned in my years of experience, schooling, and exploration to others interested in music as well.
My fascination with creating music began in High School. I received an acoustic guitar from one uncle and was taught a handful of chords by another and I was off and running, eventually trading in my elementary school cello for an electric guitar (not the most original story I'm sure).
After playing in my first band right after High School I was certain of what I wanted to do. Eventually switching to bass for my second serious band I decided to abandon the universe of self taught guitar and bass and began taking private bass lessons as well as piano at the local community college.
I continued my studies at the College of the Redwoods after moving with my band to Northern California. I began stretching myself musically by both continuing to study piano as well as taking classes in...
