I was born and raised in Vancouver, WA. I have been singing and performing since I was five years old. As my musical journey developed, I continuously performed in rock bands, dinner shows, jazz ensembles, and country bands. I studied Jazz Music while attending college in both the United States and Japan. I toured Japan performing Jazz Music and also sang at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival in Oregon. After college I joined the United States Air force. While in the USAF I directed the Air Force choir at Chanute AFB in Illinois. During my time in the Military I developed a love for Country Music. With my new found direction in music, I started writing, singing, and performing Country Music. After the Air Force, I decided to take my talents on the road and move to Nashville, TN. Hi! My name is Kallie and I have been teaching piano, flute, voice and acting for 8 years. I am very passionate about teaching and music. I am a singer/songwriter with 2 CD's on itunes and I have been involved in children theater for 7 years appearing in12 shows such as Annie, Seussical the Musical and Snow White. I am also a member of ASCAP and TAXI. I love to share my joy of music with all who will listen. Children are my specialty but I welcome students of all ages.

With 2 American Idol finalists to his credit, along with numerous students who have gone on to professional careers in theater, television, and film. He also has extensive experience as Musical Director for over 40 theatrical productions in the past 15 years.

He has received an award in Southern California for Outstanding Musical Direction in a theatrical production of The King and I. He is currently the vocal coach for Magenta Theater in Vancouver, WA.

He has traveled the US with an international singing group, been a choral director in various capacities for over 40 years, and worked as a recording studio engineer.

Nick S. has been a professional drummer/teacher for the last 40 years.
My musical roots are in New York City where I grew up and it is in NYC that I played and studied with Stanley Krel, principal percussionist with the New York Philharmonic. I worked as an on-call drummer for the William Morris Agency. I received my bachelor of music degree in Jazz Studies at NYU.

When I moved to San Francisco in 1975, I was playing with the Pickle Family Circus Jazz Band as well as other groups and studied with: George Marsh, Richie Goldberg, Anthony Cirone, the principal percussionist for the San Jose Symphony, and the legendary Chuck Brown.
Moving to Portland in 1990, playing with many trios in the Portland Metro area (Andre St James Trio, and Nick S.'s own trio, to name a few).

I have over a decade of experience both performing and teaching piano and bass, in almost every style of music. I have also studied music theory at Binghamton University, and studied jazz theory and performance with Doug Beardsley.

Mikael was born and raised in the Willamette Valley. He started playing piano at 6 years old, and took up guitar at age 12. He began taking guitar lessons and learning the classic rock, pop and R&B songs of the 60s, 70s, and 90s while also being classically trained by John Doan, an award winning guitarist and professor at Willamette University.

At age 15 Mikael was performing in local coffee shops with his acoustic folk band, and performing at weddings as well as solo on guitar. It was not uncommon to have the coffee shops completely filled with people standing outside to listen. Mikael's musical endeavors continued in high school as he played and performed with the best jazz choir and choral group in the state of Oregon at South Salem High School. He also won 2nd place for solo guitar in the State High School championship encompassing all high school divisions in Oregon.
