I love music! To me, it's a way of life. From listening to playing to writing and of course teaching. I grew up with music at school and church as well as at home. My dad was a piano player and teacher so music has been a part of my life since day one and I want to help others develop their love for music. Everyone has a unique musical talent and I enjoy helping you find it. I believe that anyone can, with practice, be an excellent musician. Playing an instrument should be a fun and creative adventure. I have a bachelor's degree in music education from internationally recognized Baldwin-Wallace College. I have been playing and touring professionally for 7 years now with a band called Ward 9, and 2 years with a band called Dan Miraldi & The Albino Winos. I've been teaching music lessons now for nearly 8 years. I have been singing, playing the guitar, and playing piano since I was 7 years old. I went to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey to study Sacred Music. While there I had the distinct honor of performing Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with the New York Philharmonic, The Dresden Philharmonic and the New Jersey Symphony at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center NY, New York as well as the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Throughout my time there I also developed my piano proficiency through rigorous ear training and through the learning of theoretical concepts in music.

I am recent graduate of Music Composition and Theory from Antioch College. Also, I am a veteran of many bands and has performed in some of the largest venues around the country.

I favor an experiential instruction style where my students can gain an in-depth understanding of music through the practice of their instrument. My students will quickly and simply learn the essentials of music theory, an understanding of what musical concepts are right for each situation and why, and the ability to compose and improvise musically while they are gaining the technical abilities and skills to flawlessly perform on their instrument.
