About Me
As a composer, conductor and experienced choral singer, Sean G demonstrates great versatility as a musician. During his years as an undergraduate, Sean began writing choral music, singing with various choirs as a tenor and alto, and began fueling an interest in choral conducting. He sang for three years under Dr. Eric Banks in Seattle’s distinguished a cappella ensemble the Esoterics, a group which specializes in the performance of Twentieth- and Twenty-first Century choral music. Sean also sang for two and a half years with the choirs at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle under Dr. Mel Butler and Brian Fairbanks before moving to the east coast for further study.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle, Washington, where he studied with Paige Stockley, as well as a Master of Arts in Music from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College in New York City where he studied composition under Dr. Bruce Saylor...
