I have taught music and acting for the past 10 years and I never tire of seeing my students progress and discover their talents! I have performed professionally with choirs, a cappella groups and theatre companies and have written and produced 3 musicals in the community. I believe in learning through creativity and the unique and individual interests of my students.

I've been singing my entire life, and always knew that it was my calling. In middle school I was part of the Alum Rock Jazz Band and went to Stanford for the Stanford Jazz Workshop four times on scholarship, where I learned to improvise and quickly form a bond with my fellow musicians. In high school I found myself deeply rooted in the Drama department and landed myself a role in Grease as Sandy, and as a senior juggled being Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray and night rehearsals as a lead dancer in Children's Musical Theater's rendition of Legally Blonde. I've always loved the spotlight, and although I was only familiar with jazz I decided to burst out of my comfort zone and form an alternative rock band with my classmates, where I learned how to manage and market my band in order to be successful musicians and maintain being a successful student. Recently I've been in several student films and have auditioned for a couple of musicals, as well as having been a part of two bands- one metal band, the other an indie\jazz\rock band. My dream is to become a world renowned singer and performer, but until then I want to help as many other people as I can help reach their goal, whatever that may be.
