Hi, my name is Joanna and I'm here to help you!
Teaching has slowly but surely grown to be a passion of mine--I remember all my music instructors from the past and how much their teachings have made an impact in my musical career and personal life.
With my degree in Songwriting, (as I am finishing up my second degree in Music Composition in the fall), and my principal training on classical flute for eight years, having received superior ratings at district and state Solo & Ensemble events in Florida with the knowledge of various classical repertoire, and having received the North American Scholarship to fund most of my education at Berklee, I find myself to be well-equipped and qualified to teach students with musical competency.I value the marriage of both traditional and contemporary music, and exercise it in my personal works.
For further questions, please inquire! I hope to work with you soon.
