What is the Best Guitar Website?

There are many different guitar websites on the internet, but which one is the best for news and gear reviews? A few great options are:

  • Music Radar
  • Guitar World
  • GuitarPlayer
  • Ultimate Guitar

…and many more! Ask your guitar instructor for their recommendations on the best guitar websites – and start rocking out today. You can learn more about the many benefits of guitar lessons by watching the video below:

Why Look for Guitar Websites

Once you’ve taken a few guitar lessons, you may feel the urge to learn more about the instrument, and the gear that goes with it.

The guitar can become an addiction, and once you’ve mastered the chords, scales, and licks, you’re going to want to learn about all the gear and equipment.

A guitar isn’t just a six-stringed instrument anymore. The addition of an amplifier, pedals, and other fun gear can help produce a number of different sounds.

There are several guitar news websites for up-to-date info on guitars and gear, along with in-depth music news, and sometimes even tablature to learn new songs.

Maybe you want to learn more about the guitar players that play your favorite songs, or learn when they have a new album coming out.

From electric guitar news, acoustic guitar news, and gear reviews, here are my favorite sites to stay  in the loop with all things guitar.

Best Guitar Websites for News and Reviews

Looking for the best guitar websites for news and reviews? You’ve come to the right place!

Here, you’ll find some of the top sources for information on all things related to guitars. From new models to gear reviews, these sites will keep you up-to-date on everything in the world of guitars.

So whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, check out these websites for the latest guitar news and information.

1. Music Radar

I’ll start with my favorite website for any type of gear news, from guitars to DJ equipment, Music Radar.

Any time I’m looking at a new piece of gear or a new instrument, I go to Music Radar and read one of their reviews.

Music Radar also complies lists which make it easier to decide what to buy. For example, before buying a new travel acoustic guitar I checked out their list “32 of the best budget acoustic guitars in the world today“.

2. Guitar World

Guitar World is less “techy,” and instead  features lots of artist news and guitar videos.

You can still learn about the latest gear and even get a quick video tutorial on how to tune the guitar in different keys, but I go to this website to see “Dude Plays Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets’ on Banjo”.

3. GuitarPlayer

I remember being in the grocery store with my mom and picking up the latest issue of Guitar Player Magazine when magazines were still a big thing. Now, the magazine is online and very easy to navigate.

GuitarPlayer always has very informative, interesting articles. For example “U.S. Made PRS vs. Korean Made PRS: What is the difference” (PRS stands for Paul Reed Smith and is an excellent guitar).

GuitarPlayer also has excellent product spotlights that I recommend checking out.

4. Ultimate Guitar Website

Where Music Radar is all about the gear, Guitar World and Guitar Player are about the news. Ultimate Guitar, however, is all about the TABS.

When I want to learn a new song, this is my go-to website. They have a great ranking system, so you know which guitar tabs are accurate and which ones were created by an internet troll.

5. Guitar Center Website

Looking for the latest guitar news and gear reviews? Look no further than Guitar Center’s website.

The team of experts is constantly scouring the internet for the latest information on all things guitar, from new product releases to artist interviews.

And of course, they’ve got all the latest gear reviews right here on our site.

So whether you’re looking for buying advice or just want to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings in the guitar world, be sure to check out Guitar Center’s website.

6. Premier Guitar

Last, but definitely not least, Premier Guitar keeps you up to date on guitar news, gear, and artists.

There are also some great how-to videos, and my favorite feature, the “Rig Rundown“. This section features a new artist or band every week and shows the guitars and gear they use on a nightly basis.

If you want to see how your favorite bands get their sound, check out Premier Guitar.

What is the Best Website for Guitar Chords?

There are a lot of different websites that offer guitar chords, but not all of them are created equal. The best website for guitar chords will have a wide selection of chords, both basic and advanced, so that you can find the ones you need for any song.

You can find a full list of guitar chord websites here.

A few recommendations to help you sift through these?

The site should also be easy to use, with a clear and concise layout that makes it easy to find the chord you’re looking for. In addition, the best websites will also provide helpful tips and tutorials on how to play guitar chords, so that even beginners can learn the ropes quickly and easily.

With so many different factors to consider, it can be tough to know which website is the best for guitar chords. However, by keeping an eye out for these key features, you can be sure to find the perfect site for your needs.

What is the Best Guitar Tab Site?

There are a few different types of guitar tab sites available on the internet. Some are free while others require a subscription. The top three guitar tab sites are Guitar Tricks, JamPlay, and TrueFire. All three of these sites offer a variety of features that make them unique.

Guitar Tricks is one of the most popular guitar tab sites. It offers over 11,000 video lessons taught by professional instructors. There is also a huge song library with over 500 songs. In addition, there is a forum where members can ask questions and share advice.

JamPlay is another popular option for guitarists. It offers over 5,000 video lessons, as well as 1-on-1 Skype lessons with instructors. JamPlay also has a huge song library with over 600 songs. One of the unique features of JamPlay is their Artist Series, which features instructional videos from famous guitarists such as Steve Vai and John Petrucci.

TrueFire is the third top guitar tab site. It offers over 40,000 video lessons, as well as live online courses. There is also a massive song library with over 1000 songs. One of the best features of TrueFire is their interactive tablature!

Guitar Pro Website Options

In addition to these great guitar websites for news and resources, there are also plenty of other awesome guitar websites out there. You can find all kinds of guitar tab websites and guitar chords website options to help you along in your journey to becoming a master player.

Of course, taking guitar lessons never hurt anyone, either!
