Each week, TakeLessons students and teachers send us their shout outs. We’re thankful to be a part of this positive and thriving community, so we’d like to share these messages with you. Here are the shout outs we received this week:

Amy Z. in Avondale, AZ wrote, “On Friday, June 6th I hosted my first private studio recital since working with TakeLessons. 6 piano, 1 flute, and 1 alto saxophone student performed for an audience of 50 family and friends on the stage at the elementary school where I teach during the school year. All of the students played very well and acted so professionally! I am very proud of each and every one of them. I am looking forward to hosting more recitals in the future.” Pictured above is Amy’s student Josh at the piano giving a big thumbs up! Thanks Amy, for putting this recital together!

Maureen L. in Dallas, TX wrote, “Haley S. is the best voice teacher! She is positive, upbeat, and very professional! And she works very well with my 14 year old daughter:)” Great job, Haley! We’re so proud to have you on the team!

I am 61 years young and sang in public (at a camp talent show) for the first time in 44 years!…and this time I felt good about it. The only reason that I was able to do this is, is because I have been taking singing lesson on TakeLessons with the BEST teacher, Mr Farobag Cooper. I believe it has only been 2 months of lessons ,but Mr Cooper is so patient that he made me feel very comfortable with my singing. He takes it slowly and I never feel rushed at learning.
I am learning little by little how to control my voice. I have started to understand the musical notes and some how can play a few notes on my piano. Presently, I have a crazy schedule and I feel the only way I kept up with taking lessons was due to Mr Cooper being flexible. If anyone out there is thinking about taking singing lessons ask for Farobag Cooper. Aside from being a patient singing instructor, he is very smart and I believe he teaches various subjects, and is probably #1 in any lesson.I was very lucky to be matched with him and continue to take classes.

That’s wonderful, Bluma, thanks for sharing! Have you left a review on Mr. Cooper’s profile page? If not, I encourage you to do so!
