TakeLessons Community Shout Outs – Week of 6/23/14

Each week, TakeLessons students and teachers send us their shout outs. We’re thankful to be a part of this positive and thriving community, so we’d like to share these messages with you. Here are the shout outs we received this week:

Yunjin Audrey K. in Rochester, NY, wrote, “We had a studio recital Sunday, June 21st 2014. All my students worked really hard this semester and I am proud of each individual! Hopefully, it was a great experience for them and we can have one more this coming Christmas!” Congrats to all your students, and thank you Yunjin for taking the time to give your students a special day!

Brianna S. in Los Angeles, CA, wrote, “I wanted to stop in to show props to one of my 5 year old piano students, Sofie. I’ve been teaching her for about a month, and she has progressed so much! From the first lesson, she has just been taking off! Today, we marked “Old MacDonald” off of our list of songs she can play by herself. Besides the piano playing and learning general rules of music, Sofie is a very intelligent, quick, and funny girl! I can’t wait to hear what she’ll do with music later on in life.” Three cheers for Sofie making so much progress so young! We wish you many years of music and fun to come!

Sarah C. in Nashville, TN, wrote, “I want to give a congratulations to my vocal student, Alex B. He’s been preparing an audition for a part in Cabaret and found out yesterday he got the part! So proud!” Congratulations Alex on an audition well done, and break a leg in the show!
