My name is Richard Alan Lawson.I have an 3 year old daughter and a fiancé witch is my daughters mother.I want to go to school to become an professional pilot, cause I love to fly and I think it would be an good career.I’ve done my research in order to know what I have to know,so I can start taking my small steps towards what I want to do for a living and an long term career.I’ve been talking with an family friend that is an professional pilot to better understand the information that has been layed out in front of me.Being a pilot is something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid.I’ve always loved being around airplanes and the history behind it.If I follow my dreams I would be doing something I love doing and it will also give my family a good life.Everything I have accomplished, was because of my little girl.Im a father that’s been motivated in accomplishing my goals. This is my most important one to accomplish.Ive loved flying since the very first time I steped foot in the cockpit,it’s my passion to fly.Im ready to achieve this goal and give it everything I got and some,so one day I can finally call myself a professional pilot, and give my daughter a life. Its gonna be tough being away from my daughter but in the end I know it’s going to be worth it.Some day she will be able to thank me,and maybe one day she may want to do the same thing and I can be the one to teach her all the switches and how to control the plane on her own.If I was to win this scholarship I would use it to help pay for my life term passion.
