If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be as a pediatric nurse. I plan on taking part of the changes that occur in the world by offering my help to countries who lack medical attention and supplies. My first step to obtain this goal has been completed. I was getting accepted to my dream school, Loma Linda University School of Nursing. My second step to obtaining my goal is to graduate nursing school with a GPA of 3.3 or higher so I can increase my chances of acceptance to the Loma Linda University School of Nursing’s Master’s Degree for a Nurse Practitioner. When I become a licensed Nurse Practitioner I plan to travel to third world countries such as Afghanistan and Sierra Leone. I want to help those children and their families who are sick and can’t afford medical attention. I want to offer my skills and show families how to use a hands on technique when performing health evaluations on their children. Providing children and their families with vaccines, food, clean water, and medical attention is a dream of mine and it would change the world significantly because those teachings that are learned can be passed on to others.
