Blood spatters, finger prints! These are two of the few things a forensic scientist encounters on his daily routine. This is what my dream job is. However, to make this a reality I will first have to go through intensive hard work and sacrifice that will eventually pay off when I am in a laboratory analyzing biological evidence. My plan to achieve this goal is to major in biology. I want to make biology my field of expertise. By making it my field of expertise, chances of becoming a forensic scientist will increase. I have the knowledge, but do I have the experience? Well, to earn experience I will have to intern as an apprentice forensic scientist. I will need to be able to handle evidence, write reports and use the equipment forensic scientist use.
I may not be able to change the world, but will be able to change the fate of an individual. I will be able to determine if a person is guilty of a crime or innocent. This is a huge thing because some people get away with crimes, or an innocent individual pays the price with his time. I will work as a forensic scientist to ensure that the guilty pay the price with their time and the innocent feel safe.
