If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would be a worship leader. Worshipping the Lord on stage in front of people is one of my biggest dreams. Worship is my favorite thing to do. Many things that fall into the category of “worship,” but my favorite is singing. God has blessed me with a voice, and I don’t take the responsibility of having it lightly. God gives people gifts is so that they can glorify Him with it, which is exactly what I do with my voice. In my dream of being a worship leader, it is not so that my voice will be heard, for I am merely a human; it would be that people see God through me, and give their lives to Him because of it. Would it change the world? I believe that it could. People in today’s society have trouble finding who they are and knowing their worth. I believe that every person is valuable and loved by the creator. Proclaiming Jesus to people through singing, I believe, would help. Even if I were to reach only a few at a time, it takes one step at a time to change the world. To make that dream a reality, learning to play an instrument, as most worship leaders do, would be first. Writing my own songs, and have to record them and send them off to a record label is next. After that, God’s will would do the rest.
