If I could make a living while pursuing my passion it would put me in the place where I am right now: a freshman at Grand Valley State University who is beyond motivated for her major in Radiation Therapy and her minor in Spanish. Radiation therapy helps me follow my passion for healing and helping. I have always wanted to save lives and when my grandma died from cancer I knew wanted to help cure other people struggling with cancer. My minor in Spanish is helping me not only make a living but help pursue my passion of traveling. With my minor I can speak Spanish to my Hispanic patients making the treatment more relaxing for them. I also get a benefit from my minor in Spanish which is traveling. I am an avid traveler and this way I could live in Spain and be a Radiation Therapist which is a very big goal of mine. Another goal I have is to graduate with a 4.0 and in three years. In high school I knew what I wanted to be so I took a lot of prerequisites over the summer so I could excel and reach my goal at a faster rate. I am very passionate about Radiation Therapy and Spanish and know I could help so many people not only in my community but all over the world. I know I am only working towards my goal but I am passionate and willing to work hard to reach it.
