All your life you’ve been told that you had a choice. You could either be happy – or you could make money – but you couldn’t have both. Deep inside though you knew there had to be more to life than living for those two-week vacations.
Part of you buys into the myth that your only option is toil away at some high stress, low satisfaction job until some far off retirement. Then you get to be happy.
But another part of you knows darn well that it really is possible to work at something you truly love AND to have more control over your time and your life. Deep down you know it’s not just “wishful thinking.”
For one thing, you’ve seen other people do it.
Like that woman in your area who is making a good living selling her homemade cheesecakes… Or the guy you saw on TV who makes six figures building elaborate stone walls…. Or the travel lover who has a portable online business that allows her to just pack up her laptop and work from literally any where in the world… Or the retiree who scours garage sales for antiques and then sells them on eBay.
If they can re-create their lives, why can’t you? You’re already further along than most people.
After all, you already know what you want. You want to do work that brings money and satisfaction. You want your work to have meaning and purpose. Maybe even do something that leaves the world a better place. But even that’s not enough.
You also want a life where you control your life and time, where you enjoy more flexibility and balance…
You could either be happy – or you could make money – but you couldn’t have both. Deep inside though you knew there had to be more to life than living for those … Hey, if I can replace my job with satisfying work – and gain the freedom, … When your destination is a life where you make a living doing what you love.
what I would for me is to help and insipred people to make change for the good.
