Since my freshman year in high school I knew I wanted to be a part of the Healthcare Industry. At the time I did not know my place but I knew if I took the first step I could not be stopped. I enrolled at my local vocational school and was accepted for my sophomore year. I was going to become a nursing assistant. Currently I am attending Keystone Technical Institute for a degree in Health Information Technology and I am now becoming more aware of healthcare as a business. Before starting school I was naive about the healthcare industry but each day I am learning new and important aspects. I want to take this knowledge and make a difference in the business by showing my passion and dedication towards the ever changing medical world. I am determined to achieve a 3.7 GPA and take advantage of the extern opportunity I will have before completion of my schooling. I believe I can make a difference by showing my passion, professionalism, dedication, and willingness to adapt to the constantly changing health care industry.
