Many individuals spend their lives finding excuses as to why they aren’t doing what they love in their lives. Some people blame their jobs, children, parents, or their education, when they should only blame themselves for not striving for what they desired. Of course, at times it’s difficult to achieve one’s life goals. Although, if I were given the opportunity to earn a living doing what I love most, I’d choose to become a professional movie actor.
I’d use my success as an opportunity to speak to the world. Countless people remain naive toward global issues existing around them, while they continue to obsess over lives of “A-list” celebrities. Knowing that, I’d use my recognition to inform people out there of global issues, such as world hunger, animal and child abuse, foreign issues, such as wars; the importance of education, and advocating campaigns to raise awareness of such matters. In addition, if I were to become a well-known actor, I’d donate time and money to charities from all around the world to benefit the needy, and inspire people to give back, as well.
It’s definitely an ambitious desire to fulfill, and for that, many would call it “wishful thinking.” But everyone believes that at first, for earning a living by doing what you love, and improving the world by doing it, sounds too good to be true. Given these points, when the opportunity comes, one must seize it, for doing what you love is truly the opportunity of a lifetime.
