When asked if I could do what I loved most for a living, my mind did not go where most minds would. To me, I already have the perfect job. I am a mommy. The pay is great! I get more love, affection, beautiful moments, and precious memories than I ever thought was possible. But then, to sit and think of incorporating those feelings into a real life career I know what I want to do for the rest of my life. So this brings us back to the real question, if I could earn a living doing what I loved most, I would be an OB and/or pediatric nurse. No portion of my life has ever been more rewarding than the day my children entered my life. I can help other expectant mothers bring their children into the world, I can be there every step of the way. This career can give me a chance to be a part of this happiness for others. Never did I think I could change the world, but I think as a nurse I could. All new moms are scared, or maybe nervous, even the moms that have already experienced the miracle has moments of fear. As their nurse I can help them prepare for a terrific journey. And even in pediatrics, I can enter the journey and watch these amazing little people grow up to reach their dreams just as I hope to.
