My dream is to become a perioperative nurse. More specifically, I want to pursue my master’s degree and become a RNFA which stands for registered nurse first assistant. In this position I will work more closely with the surgeons and assist as they need. It is a nice thought to be able to change the world with my career, but to be honest, it is unrealistic to believe that my degree will change the world as a whole. The process if much more complicated than that. I want to change the lives of one person as a time, one surgery at a time. I find it to be more important that I change the lives of my children. Earning my degree will show my children how important an education is. I want my two children to see their mother as a determined and motivated fighter, who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. I hope that my continuing education will teach my children that even if they chose to not pursue a degree right out of high school, it is never too late. My education will change my children for the better and help them to become strong, determined and motivated adults. In the end, this my grandchildren will be motivated as well as my great-grandchildren, and that will be how I will change the world.
