Imagine your future. If I could imagine my future it would consist of ravishing smiles and fancy scrubs. My dream is to be a nurse practitioner. At the age of sixteen, my sister died from brain cancer and it changed my life forever. The devastating experience destroyed my present but motivated my future. If I could do anything with my education and my experiences, it would be to help others. I know from my experience that survivors of terrible illnesses have the best appreciation for life and therefore the most radiant smiles. I want to be part of their story and change the world one smile at a time. To make that dream a reality, I plan to continue my education at Eastern Florida State College. After receiving my Associate of Science degree from my accredited four-year school, I will transfer to the University of Central Florida. I have already been accepted to the university for the spring 2015 school year with the promise of finishing my AA degree this semester. Next semester I will enroll into the nursing program at the University of Central Florida, and start my journey. After I receive my bachelors degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida, I will obtain my master’s degree from that university and become a successful nurse practitioner. My plans will only make my dream a reality. I have to help others because I am my sister’s keeper, and everyone deserves a second chance at life. I will change the world by helping people live longer and healthier lives. I will be a major participant in the battle against cancer and other illnesses and help the world fight back, one patient at a time. My dream, most importantly, will inspire others, and hopefully they will help others too around them and in their community. Everyone can help change the world.
