If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would dedicate my life to helping others in need, specifically becoming a doctor. I have wanted to become a doctor for as long as I can remember as I am very passionate on helping those who are less fortunate. As a doctor, I would provide care for low-income communities and even spread aid to third-world countries. I would then share my experiences with students in my community and promote the need to help others. In order to make my dream a reality, I would begin my journey by attending the University of California, San Diego and majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Ethnic Studies. Throughout this time, I will also become involved in community service by volunteering at my local hospital and participating in a variety of student organizations on campus, focusing on expanding my leadership skills. At the end of my undergraduate career, I would aspire to attend medical school and receive a medical degree in family medicine. Upon receiving my degree, I would like to travel to different countries around the world and begin providing healthcare to those in need. In the distant future I dream of also opening up my own private practice in an underprivileged community. Although achieving my dream will be a life-long process, I am committed to going to great lengths in order to achieve what I see as my purpose in life.
