Life is too short to not earn a living doing what you love most. I tell my children every day, make sure you go to school and when you get to college, go to college to do whatever it is that you love doing. For me, my love happens to be for math. I know I sound crazy but I love math and showing people how it works. My dream job is to become a high school math teacher. How I plan on changing the world is to help more people to understand how math works, and teach them to love math. I know it is one of the most challenging subjects in school, but I believe that if a teacher truly enjoys their subject and is willing to help their students love the subject, then there is no stopping that teacher! My specific goals to making this dream become a reality are: I will finish the last six terms of math that is required for me to get into the education program. I will take all my state required tests within the next year to ensure I am ready for the education program. I will apply to the education program and complete it. Lastly, I will gain employment in the public school setting and pursue my dream job. I will change the world one group of students at a time!
