My dream would be to become a registered dietitian so that I may help people, more specifically young adults, feel better about their bodies through nutrition. My goal is not to tell them to lose weight or they need to be skinnier, but to take care of the body that they were given. I hope to guide them in the right direction to nourish their bodies with the proper nutrition. I also would like to help them gain the self-confidence about themselves and to help them understand that not all bodies are the same. I have struggled with body positivity in the past and would be honored to help others the same way I have been helped. In my own personal life, I had made changes to diet and increasing my activity levels. As a result, I found myself to be in high spirits and would wish the same to others. In order to accomplish this goal, I would enter the Dietetics program at the University of Illinois and I hope to receive my Bachelors degree. Eventually I would like to work with the media, preferably the internet, to help educate others on the importance of nutrition and body positivity. Perhaps design recipes for maximum nutrition without sacrificing the taste.
