I want to dedicate the rest of my life in any career in the Nutrition, Exercise and Health Sciences field; specifically as a Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist in an inpatient facility for people with eating disorders. I am a recovered Anorexic. I would dedicate my life to helping others with this disease to free them of their issues with food and body image. I would use my knowledge of healthy eating and exercise to hopefully move the patient down the path towards recovery. I know first-hand how changing your diet, lifestyle and mind-set about food and exercise can affect your life for the better. I would hope that I could change the world with my knowledge, but more importantly I would love to change someone’s world. My goals are setup in a 3, 5, 7, 10 year plan. In three years, my goal is to have obtained my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise and Health Science. I would like to volunteer at an inpatient facility to gain hands on experience with their on staff dietitian, while working towards my degree. My five year goal is I would like to be working my master’s degree. In seven years, my goal is to be working on my PhD. Ten years from now, my goal is to have hopefully changed the lives of numerous disordered eating patients. Overall, I am dedicated to my goals and I will work very hard to achieve my goals.
