Molding, crafting, creating, designing, engineering… some of the most satisfying and enjoyable things in the world. After all, man’s desire to create built our society. Man made clothing and tools allowing him to go new places and perform tasks quicker and easier than before. This drive to create and improve, being evolutionarily beneficial, became a trait of mankind. This need to create has given us towering skyscrapers, land, water, and air vehicles, satellites, computers, internet, and just about everything we use in daily life. This unquenchable thirst to create is almost as necessary as air, water, and sustenance. Mankind’s need to create is what changed the world to what it is now as well as what guarantees the world will continue to change.
My undying love of creating will change this world. In just a few short years I will obtain a degree in Engineering. Working in the Engineering field will allow me to create for a living while increase my income, allowing me the budget necessary to create that which will change this world. Once working as an Engineer I intend to build myself an Engineering shop complete with a 3D printer, CNC, soldering station, wind tunnel, welders, laser cutter, vacuum former, injection molder, and all the other toys I have dreamed of having. When someone asks me how doing what I love the most will change the world, the answer is simple because what I love the most is creating, and creating is what changes the world.
