I have always been told to search for a career that will make me happy in the long run. Find something you love and chase it. I believe I’ve found just that.
The past few years I’ve came to the conclusion that I will strive to be a journalist. I’ve narrowed it down even further to sports journalist or broadcaster. Sports have always been a passion of mine, ever since I was young. So I am following the advice I was given, and am striving for something I love.
Journalism is a field that informs the general public in more was then one. This world would be entirely different if we did not have this field. Newspapers, television, radio, the internet, journalism is all around us and it continues to advance. And I look forward to being apart of that advancement.
To be apart of that advancement I must set forth many precedents and goals to follow. First and foremost maintaining excellent grades is a must. With hard work and investing a lot of time into my schooling, I will achieve this. My ultimate goal is to one day be heard on the radio or television announcing sporting events. Through the excellent journalism program at Mizzou I feel very positive of reaching such a feat.
A dream cannot easily be attained, but with hard work the dream can become a reality. I will strive to make my dream a true reality no matter the cost.
