Up until about two weeks ago I thought that I wanted to be a forensic psychologist. Two weeks ago changed my life forever. It was a normal day with my dad until he started getting sick and he came out to me and told me he thought he was having a heart attack. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. Being with him all alone and feeling so helpless made me realize that I wanted to do something with my life that was going to help people in a different way. I wanted to do something where I could be around people and figure out what was wrong with them. I stayed by my dads side in the hospital for two days before they released him. During those two days I got to watch what nurses did and how they ran tests. In those two days I realized that, that was what I wanted to do I wanted to help people in a more direct way. I am determined to be the first person from my family to graduate from college and I have always loved helping people and now I found a way that I can be a part of helping someone recover or helping them feel as at ease in a tough time they may be going through. So my dream job is to become a Registered Nurse and help people in any way that I can.
