Everybody has dreams. Dreams sometimes seem unattainable. However Martin Luther King Jr. had dream, Gandhi had a dream, President Obama had a dream. All dreams in life are possible as long as you have three things. Those three things are determination, resilience and support. My dream might not be as big as Martin Luther King Jr.’s was, but I too have one. I dream that someday, everybody will be able to go to college. It seems so simple but with college expenses being in the 10′s of thousands of dollars its not. The only , reason that I and many others are able to go to college are because of student loans. However those have to be paid back and that is looked at as a norm now but it shouldn’t be. My plan is to contact my local representative and really work towards lowering the cost of college. From there we will draw up a bill, one where schools are forced to cut positions and salaries because really, isn’t college made to further educate our youth? Not to create glamorous Universities. I know its a battle that is going to be long and rough, but if I am determined, resilient and have the support of my peers, anything is possible.
