I’ve always enjoyed creating works of art, but the type that I’ve found to be the of the most intriguing is painting on the inside walls of my house. In seventh grade I decided to paint my room. One wall with the”Pink Panther”, holding a boombox on his shoulder. More recently, I painted my sisters’ room with various “Looney Toon” characters such as, Lola Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil. But I knew as an artist that trying to make a living off of your work wasn’t always a guaranteed success. However, if it was possible to make this a successful career, I would so.

Some steps I would take to making this vision possible is by taking classes. Then I’d put up fliers around my school and neighborhood to see how many people would be interested. If successful with a few jobs, I’d work on trying to get ads in the paper. Assuming that everyone loved my work my next step would be to create a website.

With my work I would aspire to bring families closer together, or simply put a smile on a child’s face when they walk into their room. My happiest moments in my life have come from being able to make someone else’s day better and to do that for a living would bring all that I need in life – happiness. With each persons life that I aspire to make better with my work the world would be that much better.
