Story-telling is an art that has developed the way we as humans communicate with one another. From ancient cave paintings to oral presentations, our culture has continued to find ways to tell our story. The form of story-telling I enjoy most is through video production.
My roots of video production began as a military broadcast journalist in the Georgia Army National Guard, and have developed into a student video production assistant for Georgia Southern’s Multimedia Development Center. What I enjoy about telling stories through video is the ability to visually display imagery and emotions to the audience, and present the stories on multiple mediums.
I would like to continue my dream of video production story-telling when I graduate from college by becoming a broadcast journalist for an international news agency. I would like to travel around, visit areas many people are not familiar with, and tell the stories of the people in that area. Story-telling is what has kept many traditions and cultures alive. I would like to continue telling the story of human-kind and the world.
