If I were to do what I loved, get paid, and change the world while doing it, I would pick writing and performing in sketch comedy.

Sketch comedy can easily change the world. One of the reasons why I enjoy writing for, performing in, and seeing sketch comedy is because can effectively explore the human condition. The arts, in general, can be used for this purpose. However, sketch comedy places our flaws on display in a non-accusatory way. There are many sketches that I have seen where I laughed hysterically and also examined my lifestyle choices. Humans are broken, but sketch comedy provides a way to explore that and call a cause an action to fix it – all in an entertaining manner.

To achieve this goal, the best place to start is on the internet. This reaches the largest audience out of any entertainment medium. I would write sketches that explored the state of our society today and publish them in hopes that they would reach a wide audience. To change ourselves, we must learn to laugh at ourselves through relatable and shareable content. My hope is these sketches can gain popularity and would inspire people to change their behaviors and mindset.
