“Ask not what your teammates can do for you. Ask what you can do for your teammates.” A quote said by Magic Johnson, a former player for the Los Angeles Lakers. My main goal in life is to become a professional basketball player, and use the money I make to go towards my home country, Ghana. This year, I am supposed to play D3 NCAA basketball for the Morrisville State Mustangs and hopefully advance it to something bigger such as overseas basketball or even the NBA. Achieving this will not only bring me positive publicity, but change the rotation of the world because the money that will be spent on Ghana will make the country more modernize, such as the United States, China and London. It is completely understandable that it is pretty difficult to bring a country to the same level as the United States, but Ghana was worth only 47.93 billion US dollars. However, The US was worth 16800 billion US dollars, whiles China was worth 9240.27 billion US dollars (Tradingeconomics.com). As seen, Ghana is nowhere compared to these two countries so I feel if I was able to give in money to my country, it will help immensely. The living I want right now is a very big dream, but I was raised to always push my dreams to reality, even if I don’t have the support I need. All I honestly need is myself, God, and I will be on the right track.
