Through the course of my life I have found that the thing that I love most is traveling. Traveling is a gateway to new opportunities and gives you a different world view through witnessing different cultures. If I could get paid to travel I would use my time to understand cultures around the world and attempt to help people around the world by preaching cultural awareness. We are all citizens of the world, and we all deserve to be treated equally because we are all human. In order to make this dream a reality I will do several things. First I will study abroad while I am at college. I plan on studying abroad in a Spanish speaking country where I can practice my Spanish, and learn about the culture of where I’m studying. Next I will major in Global Studies. This major will increase my global knowledge and prepare me to deal with different people from all over the world. Lastly I will join the Peace Corps after I graduate. This will allow me to travel to different places all over the world while allowing me to help people in the areas that I go. Because of globalization and modern technology, the world is not as big of a place as it once was. Everyone is connected on our planet, and as citizens of the earth we need to start realizing that.
