If I could do whatever I wanted for a living, I would play music. All my life I’ve done virtually nothing but play music. I am now on the verge of returning to school for just this field. I am about to begin a program at Ex’pression College in Sound Arts, which entails the engineering and production of music. In this environment, I will make the connections necessary and acquire the skills I need to live a life and earn a living in the field of music. This is all I want. I avoided it for a long time, thinking it unrealistic and now, after trying various other fields and coming out unfulfilled, I have settled on this path as the true path for me.
How will this change the world, you ask. Well, I feel that everyone has a place in the world and to find the place in which one fits, one must surround themselves with like-minded souls. In this manner, by associating with others in the same field, I will complete the sense of being and purpose I have always felt. Perhaps this seems trivial in a world like ours. To that, I say that all the skills available to humanity must be mastered and maintained and each person plays a part in the ongoing survival of the race. My path is mine and yours is yours and if we each play our parts, then the world will remain in bloom.
