If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be to help a person be the best they can be emotionally and physically. I want to be a social worker and a certified personal trainer. These two jobs alone can help one become better mentally or physically. Although, when they are combined the pearl of the person can be polished so they feel as shiny as they truly are. I want to help a person recognize their true worth and ability regardless of where they stand in their life. I want to help an individual overcome their boundaries and barriers and raise their self-efficacy so that they can be the best they can be in many different aspects. Becoming healthier physically most often helps one feel much better about who they are in their own skin. After someone gains confidence in themselves, they tend to have a more positive outlook on life. Becoming healthier mentally also helps and individual become much more comfortable with the thoughts and feelings. Mental health can also lead to physical health, as physical health can also lead to mental health. As stated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, thoughts lead to feelings which also lead to actions. If an individual has negative thoughts about themselves, they will tend to become depressed. After they have embraced the feeling of depression they conclude that “getting out of bed today” is not worth it. I desire to help someone want to get out of bed.
