The job I want most in this world is to teach. I want to teach high school students, I want to teach students around me, I want to teach my own children. Teachers come in all forms and have an incredible ability as well as opportunity to pour into those being taught. I would strive to provide instruction in a caring way that made my students, my peers, and my children feel that they are not having lessons thrown at them but that they would see the motivation behind my teaching as purely for their own good. Teaching that gets results requires selflessness and a genuine desire for those being taught. I believe that teachers can change this world by creating a love for learning in the learners and by opening themselves to being taught things by their students, peers, and children as well. The love for learning that they create expands young minds and gives them power and motivation to impact this world in even greater ways. Being a teacher does not change nor save the world over night. It takes time, dedication and commitment. I want to have the opportunity to make an impact, and I plan to not only take it, but to use it.
