My name is Jordan Prendergast, a college freshman majoring in Biological Sciences who will graduate in the year 2018. I plan to become a general practitioner not only because it’s a high paying job, but because I have a passion for helping many people that are in need of medical care. In order to prepare myself to become a general practitioner I must keep my priorities in order and never forget any of my goals. My goals consist of earning excellent grades mostly A’s because when it comes to aiming for success you must aim for the best, no one should underestimate themselves. Someone can always aim for the best, but if they are not putting in all of effort they can put in achieving such a goal is difficult, so studying and participating as much as I can for a class is a priority. Later in my years of college I plan to become an intern at a hospital not only is it a requirement, it is a way for me learn about my profession and experience it in person rather than just research the information about it. Another goal of mine is to earn as many scholarships as I can, earning these scholarships to pay off my college tuition will ease my stress on finances so I can focus on academics. I am willing to put large amounts of time and energy to achieve my goals and succeed in my career, and nothing will stop me.
