If I could earn a living doing what I love most in the world it would be reading. I spend any and every spare moment with my nose buried in a printed text or an e-book on a tablet or phone. The impact it would leave on the world for reading to be a paying job would be immense. At some point in life every single individual wishes they could be someone else, somewhere else, or in another time. Reading makes it all possible. There are so many people who claim to hate to read but they often times just don’t give it a chance. Being paid to read would incentivize those that claim to dislike it to try it out and really give it a chance. Their minds would start to see new connections and their level of acuity would rise. I would aim to make it possible by starting with a small goal. The first goal would be to have a reward system in schools that incentivizes children to read often. Next would be to show the business world the opportunity for a new vocation or new niche. The last goal would be the business community grabbing hold of the new marketing opportunity and watch as it creates jobs for readers.
