2014 TakeLessons Scholarship Essay
If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be to open up my own Preschool Learning Center and become the head of the project. To oversee all decisions made to make improvements and to help the students grow in their own special way. I believe that all children are special and all have talents of their own. My goal will be to find that one special light that shines in a unique way for each individual child. Once that goal has been assured, I plan on expanding my practices throughout the country by opening up more schools. I plan on visiting each individual site and setting up interviews with hopeful teachers who share the same philosophy as I do. To take all of this a step further, I plan to have fundraisers to buy books, pencils, crayons, paper and other classroom items to donate to other countries that aren’t as fortunate to afford these luxuries because no matter who you are and where you come from, everyone deserves to have a great education. With my plans to open up an Academy, I also hope to prepare these young minds for the future by broadening their field of knowledge. To not only teach them their ABCs but go beyond the curriculum of Preschool to have them truly prepared for the next level by exposing them to activities beyond the classroom.
