Getting paid to do something I love? I call that a dream. That dream for me encompasses becoming a travel guide. Travel, a pastime, an activity that should be high up on everybody’s priorities. The act of visiting an unknown location can bring about amazing, new and most likely even foreign possibilities otherwise neglected. Learning of other world cultures and visiting a dream destination can help one become a more well-rounded person, an attribute we all strive for. A world full of well-traveled citizens would be a world of understanding and knowledge. Each trip, each adventure, each excursion gives the traveler a new perspective. Perspective is extremely important for a world to get along. While travel is not a University where you can study and obtain a masters, travel is a learning experience open for all. I have already begun to chase after this dream. Currently in my first semester of college as a freshman I am enrolled in a few courses pertaining to tourism and travel. After my third year of studying this subject, I hope to participate in an internship to assist me in achieving my dream. To reach this goal would mean to make the world a better place.
