If I could earn a living doing what I love, it would be me as a traveling hygienist across the underserved communities of Arizona. I would start out by trying to create a program that would ensure the care and maintenance of oral hygiene in the areas of the Arizona where dental care is not available. I would have a traveling dentist and assistants that all share my same passion for helping people get back into good oral health. I believe the education and the readily available samples that I could give out would help people maintain their oral hygiene. I believe that I would influence other hygienists to do the same in other parts of the country. I am not just going to school to have a good job. I love what I do and I feel that I could help people more by trying to get out there and stopping the premature loss of teeth as well as the rampant decay that may be present. Periodontal disease is bad for your health and with my help I could try to vanquish and get people back into a healthy life. I would do this for no charge if I could. I would want the whole country joining in and helping in those types of communities. The satisfaction of giving someone their smile back as well as their confidence is my ultimate goal. A healthy mouth makes for a happy life. Helping people is my passion. It’s my life.
