To rehabilitate others and to give them a new sense of being is my dream in life. I want to be able to heal the little boy who just got his cast off and has to learn to walk again. I want to help strengthen the elderly woman who cannot make it up the stairs in her own house. When people cannot do something they need to, it makes them feel useless and sometimes they fall into depression, and I want to show them that they are worth everything. I want to major in kinesiology going the exercise science route, with a minor in business, and then go on to earn a doctorate in physical therapy so that I can help heal those who need healing. I want to use my minor in business to open up my own clinic. I want to raise funds for my business through charities so that I can offer service to those who cannot afford insurance. Helping others gives me great joy and it would be a job that I would love every day and never get tired of. My friends have always called me “Mama Meg” because I have always taken care of others and helped them in times of need. Receiving this scholarship would put me one step closer to being able to help one person at a time so that they are able to help others too. It is a chain reaction.
