I’m a self proclaimed conservationist. I believe the protection of our environment is one of the most important responsibilities we have as people. I’m an avid outdoorsman and it pains me to see the toll that industry and expansion take on our planets woodlands and water system. But I also believe that progress and construction are just as important for us as people.
I envision a world where industry and the environment coexist and even mutually benefit each other. I want to work with companies to find ways to do business and continue to produce the things they do but in a safer more environmentally friendly way.
I want to work with government to create policies and laws that protect the environment. I do not think that as people we need to change the things we do such as manufacturing and energy production but we do need to change the way we do things. I believe that trees are probably the single most important thing being affected. I want to strive to get legislation in place that for every acre of woodland that is cleared another acre or at least three quarters of an acre must be planted.
By actively working with industry and government at the same time then we can make steps to bring industry and the environment together, to have the ability to live the way that we have become accustom to and to have a healthy and thriving environment around us.
