Sometimes we learn the greatest lessons of our lives through stories. Through experiences and talking to people inspires many to finally learn how to swim or finally read that book collecting dust in the closet. Expression and word of mouth is an extremely powerful tool. Before books and schools, word of mouth was the main source of information, and story tellers where prized possessions. Writers now have it hard, competing with fictional vampires and everyday political turmoil. So if I were to become anything I wanted and been able to earn a living, I would want to be a story teller. I want to tell children about heroic tale, to give lectures on history and color in the monotony with the sound of my voice and expression. I want to be an inspiration to others. I want to tell my own tales and those of others. Not just a writer or a journalist I want to be an artist of words. I start college this year with more than enough writing classes to help me achieve this goal. I live in a house of family members who each have their own loud personality. I am attracted to simple suburban life as well as adventures in the big city. Here in the land of opportunities, stories are made every day, groundbreaking information is found and yet much of the world sits in ignorance. If I could earn money doing what I love, I would be a story teller.
